IndiGO Networks introduces a ground breaking mobile phone application that allows users of its Onephone residential or business service to make free in-plan calls on their mobile phone from anywhere in the world, without incurring any mobile carrier charges.
Aptly named Onephone2GO, the application is immediately available for Apple's popular iPhone and iPod Touch as well as any Wi-Fi enabled Nokia smartphone. Support will be expanded to include Wi-Fi enabled Blackberry handsets in Q2 2010.
Onephone2GO uses a smartphone's Wi-Fi connection to connect to the Internet at any Wi-Fi hotspot worldwide to make and receive Voice over the Internet calls through a regular Onephone subscription.
What do you get with onephone2GO?
Onephone2GO includes many of the features that are standard with a regular Onephone account, and also integrates with the mobile phone's own contact database to simplify calling. Virtual numbers can also be used with Onephone2GO and have been expanded from the US, UK and Canada to now over a dozen countries. The inclusion of voicemail further ensures that calls made to the phone when out of Wi-Fi range can be readily picked up and returned.

Onephone subscribers can download the onephone2GO client for their Nokia smartphone by clicking the SMS link sent to them upon sign up by customer service.
How can you start using onephone2GO?
Onephone subscribers can simply add their smartphone as an additional line to their existing Onephone account, or have a separate Onephone plan that is unique to their mobile phone. Contact customer service at 677-1111, 688-1111 or 699-1111 for further assistance or questions.

Calls to numbers in the selected Unlimited Country (Includes calls to the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden and Switzerland only) that are considered premium (e.g., wireless phones, pagers) will be charged the standard Out-of-Plan Calling Rates for those countries.
